Debora Mittelstaedt was born and raised in Cologne. With a strong interest in photography from a young age, she decided to study fine art photography at Folkwang University of the arts in Essen. During her studies she received a scholarship in Dublin, Ireland. Debora worked as a long term Assistant to Photographer Albrecht Fuchs in Cologne. After graduating with an MA in Photography she moved to New York City in 2006 where she established herself as a freelance Photographer. Specialized in narrative portraiture, Debora masters the line between fine art and commercial photography.
She currently lives and works in Berlin.
